Makeup can be as simple as possible or as complicated as it can get. If you are new to makeup and would love to experiment with new looks then you have to begin from learning about the makeup products and creating simple everyday makeup looks. If you are someone who is just starting out with eye makeup and would love to try some interesting looks then here is a very simple Dusky Pink Smokey Eye Makeup tutorial for you. It's pretty simple, straight-forward and super easy to recreate. Also you can recreate it with any colors you have and all you have to do it just follow the steps carefully :)
Let's hop into the tutorial shall we?

Step 1: Prep Your Lids

For any painting the canvas has to be perfect - so as the first step you need to prepare your skin and eyelids for the eye makeup to turn out good. Start with your skincare routine and once done apply a nice eyeshadow base or to your lids and gently blend them. You don't have to blend it to perfection - just a light one would do as it would help the shadow stick better.
I used MattLook Cosmetics primer for face & lids and topped off my lids with Essence I love stage eyeshadow base. This helps make your eye makeup stick to skin better and last longer. You can use your regular Concealer or BB\CC\foundation\concealer cream as a base too!

Step 2: Strengthen The Base

Choose a matte pale pink\peach or neutral shade from your eyeshadow palette and use it as all all over lid color. This helps to form a nice matte base for your eye makeup.

Step 3: Define The Crease Line

Use a deep matte purple shade (you can replace with a deeper color of your choice) and define your crease. Blend it well. This is a very important step for me because I have hooded lids and my eye makeup wouldn't be visible if I don't define my crease. You can skip this step if you don't have hooded or deep set eyes!

Step 4: Apply The Eyeshadow

Use a satin finish pink shade (a tone or two lighter than the crease color) as an all over lid color again but just below the defined crease line. Blend it well.

Step 5: One Last Step

Use a lighter pink or highlighter shade, just a little bit of it at the center of your lids to create that halo effect. This brings out the eye makeup and makes it pop❤️ Blend it in place gently.

Step 6: Enhance The Look

Re-define the crease line to deepen it (totally optional but enhances the makeup). Use a little of the leftover shadow from your brush to gently line your lower lashline below the waterline. This step makes your eye makeup look obvious and gorgeous too! :)

Step 7: Amp It Up!

Apply Kajal & eyeliner - just a thin line with a small wing would look gorgeous!
I totally skipped the Kajal and just lined both upper and lower lashline - you can absolutely do that too! Used the MattLook Cosmetics Lashes Push Up Eyeliner Black for it.
