Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation Review, Swatches, FOTD

Well well well see who is posting here! Sorry guys I have been super duper busy in life and couldn't get much time to blog it out :(
I'm trying to get back on track but however not promising anything for now. Just trying to post as & when possible to make you lovely readers remember me - thanks for still following my blog despite more than a whole month of silence! :)

Today I'm going to review a product that is from a renowned brand, very popular yet super affordable and compact to carry with ease. Read on to know more about it and to know if it's part of your vanity already ;)

My Views On Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation

Lakme is a brand even my grandma knew and it was kinda the only one which made foundations back in the day when my mom was a teen and see now - so many brands and the beauty market has grown so much! But still the traditional Lakme foundation seems to be one of the best :)

Price: INR 140 for 27 ml
Shades Available: Marble, Pearl, Shell, Coral

I'm not much of a base makeup person when it comes to everyday makeup as I strongly believe too much of it can ruin your skin permanently! But I do prefer using foundations for those special days and occasions and own a few of them. Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation is one of them and it's kinda the one I have restocked more.
Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation has a little bit of thick creamy texture and it spreads easily. Although it's bit tough to be blended and I prefer adding a bit of moisturizer or a teeny drop of face oil to get that flawless application. It has a strong fragrance which is not pleasant but it fades away in few minutes - it's the same fragrance you get from any local store foundations! :/

The Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation comes in 4 shades - I have natural pearl which is a bit light for me but the next one seems to be darker on me. It gives a light to medium coverage & can be built up if you can find your perfect shade. It leaves a slight white cast which is not so bad (at this pricing) as it can be fixed with a little translucent powder. It gives a semi matte finish that's perfect - best choice if you are going for a no makeup look or light makeup.

It's neither waterproof nor water-resistant as claimed and comes off with just one wipe which isn't good at all. However when fixed with a fixing spray it does stay decently for 4-5 hours on my oily skin.

Here are the swatches :)

Except the minimal shade selection, and non water-resistant formula this is a great foundation at this pricing & can be your go to foundation if you are lucky enough to get the perfect shade for you! :)

Rating: 4.5 out of 5
