Product name: Lakme nine to five Flawless Crème Compact

Packaging type: Compact sturdy plastic box with 2 layer decks (One for compact and other for Applicator sponge)

Shades:

Product type: Crème

Price: INR 450

Description:

A crème-to-powder finish formula make-up compact that glides on silky smooth and blends effortlessly for an impeccable finished look that lasts the entire day.

Suitable skin types: All

How it works:

Its active ingredients blend perfectly with your skin and offer full coverage for a flawless invisible finish. It is water based and its ultra-light nature helps in blending well with the skin.

How to use:

Step 1: Sweep adequate crème-to-powder compact on to the make-up sponge.
Step 2: Gently blend the make-up sponge in a downward direction. Allows you to control coverage for sheer or heavier results.

My take on the product:

Firstly, I love its packaging the most – a very convenient and travel friendly packaging. The shade I picked up was shell (the SA suggested me this).  As she said, the shade suited my complexion but at times it was ghosty too *confused*

But as the product description says, this blends well on the skin and gives a flawless finish. I apply it using the sponge and I will need to work a little harsh on my skin to make it blend well. And lot of product gets stuck with the sponge itself – so there’s more wastage. Then I started following a different technique (I must somehow finish up the product :P), I spray some rose water onto the sponge, pick up the compact with it and apply it on my face. This way it helps a lot in blending it easily and avoid the cakey appearance.

One thing I must say about this, it doesn’t give me break outs at all. It also didn’t make my skin either oily or too dry as well. So in this case, I just love it!!

Swatch:

Petals:

  • Blends well with skin

  • Wonderful, travel friendly packaging

  • Good sponge atleast :P

  • Wide shade selection that suits Indian skin tones

Thorns:

  • Too pricey

  • Makes face cakey at times

  • Not the best one; I feel the regular Lakme compact powder works even better

This is a sheet face mask and the pack contains mask sheet filled in with the pack solution. This is how the pack looks! I love the color of it, a pure white packaging with mint green border :D

(I’m a crazy fan of mint and menthol)

Inside the pack is the mask completely surrounded by the solution. The mask liquid looks just like water and feels greasy. The mask sheet is thick enough and covers the face completely. The mask quality is so good that you won’t feel it irritating (except for the fact that you are used to sheet masks).

I was so excited to try out the mask that I immediately put it on my face once I opened it.

I’m not so much used to sheet masks and I felt a little uncomfortable in the beginning. Later after sometime I got used to it and felt comfy with the mask on my face. I kept it on for around 20minutes after which I started feeling that the mask has dried up a little. So I just removed it off and washed my face with plain water to remove the remaining pack on face.
The pack liquid feels a little greasy when applied on face, guess it has collagen in it. And all lovely ladies, yes this mask really lives up to its claims :D :D :D

After washing my face my skin was squeaky clean and dirt free. Even the last trace of oil was removed. After some 10-15 minutes, I felt my skin tightened and fresh. The mask has really hydrated my skin very well that I felt it very soft and smooth. So yes yes yes! This mask works great and lives upto its claims.

Petals:
  • Leaves skin squeaky clean, dirt and oil free

  • Tightens pores and hydrates skin

  • Lives upto its claims

  • Affordable price

Thorns:
  • My face is little small and the mask was big for my face :(
  • Availability could be a problem (I got it from local stores and I myself couldn’t find

 Rating 4 out of 5 (-1 for non-availability)

Would I recommend it? Of course a big YES

Hello all lovelies!

Today I’m going to review a very beautiful Nail Polish from Born Pretty E-Store. Most of you here know very well about BPES and their exclusive collection of Nail paints, nail art stickers, templates etc. For those who are new to this online shopping world, BPES is a largest online shopping site which sells many kind of items including nail polishes, hair accessories etc. They even offer free shipping Worldwide!!

Their Nail polish collection includes sand nail polishes, yogurt polishes, glitteratties, candy color polishes, holographic polishes etc. Here I’m going to review their most lovely holo polish in shade #4.

I love the square bottle which contains the polish. The cap is quite sturdy and definitely you can carry it wherever you want. It is so cute and compact that it would fit perfect in your mobile pouch :P

The shade I have is a very cute onion pink color and I really really love it so much. You can see the cute holo glitters shining in the above pic :) They also sent me a small note :)

The polish itself is neither too runny nor too gooey. It is in the perfect state it must be sophisticating easy application. I must definitely appreciate the fibrous soft brush the bottle has which helps making the application so convenient. It really glides on my nails and fits exactly inside my nails preventing any application outside my cuticles.

Here is a swatch of the polish on my nails (it goes on opaque with 2 coats and can add one more coat if required).

I have a bad habit of trying different Mani styles with polishes and never leave them on their own on my nails :D So here are the swatches of BPES holo # 4 topped with Etude House Dear My Party Nails PRD301.

Oh you too want one? You can buy them here:

Final Verdict:

Best Holo Polish at an affordable price with wide color selection!

Rose Petals:

Thorns:

Are you scared of using your credit card online on some website because you feel that it might be fraudulent or a security threat, but still wanna shop with them? If that’s the case, then welcome to the world of Virtual credit cards, which are the super safest key to the virtual\online shopping world!

What is a Virtual Credit Card (VCC)?

A virtual credit card (VCC) is an add-on Visa credit card issued on your primary credit card. It does not have any plastic existence. All relevant details like the card number, the validity period and the CVV numbers are visible\provided online. The virtual credit card enables you to transact online with a credit limit of your choice.

The Card can be used to shop online at any merchant website that accepts Visa Cards, without any difference from a regular plastic Card. The Card will be issued by on the selected account and actual debit to the account will take place only when the Card is used.

How to get a VCC?

You can instantly create it, using your net-banking facility by providing your credit card or debit card details. All relevant details like the card number, the ‘VALID FROM’ date, the expiry date and the CVV number are visible online to you and this virtual credit card enables you to transact online with a credit limit of your choice.
You yourself create a virtual credit card on your bank website. During creation of VCC, you can specify the limit for the virtual credit card and it can be used only once, so if a website stores your credit card information even then it cannot be used again.

You can refer to the below link for detailed steps on getting your VCC in different banks:

Limit of a Virtual Credit Card

The minimum limit is Rs.1\- and the maximum limit is what you set (or) adheres with your actual plastic card limit.

Validity of a VCC

The virtual credit card is valid only for a single use and automatically expires within 24 hours if the virtual credit card is not used, which means that the chances of credit card fraud or misuse are significantly lower than a real credit card. Also understand that if you hold a VISA card, then the virtual card which you will get will be VISA one and if it’s Master Card, then it’s going to obviously be a Master card.

How to use VCC?

The key details of your VCC like the card number, expiry date etc. are used when you transact online, but your primary card details are never shared with the merchant online, so you never have to be worried about losing your card or having to carry it ‘safely’ in your wallet. Since no physical plastic card is issued, VCC can be used for online transactions only.

Here are the steps to use VCC:
  • Select required goods\ services on merchant’s website.
  • Select Debit Card\Visa Card of your bank from the payment options.
  • Enter the Virtual Card details on the website.
  • Enter your secure 8-Digit password (OTP), received on your mobile.
  • After successful validation, you will receive SMS on your registered mobile confirming the transaction.
  • After the transaction, the Card will be de-activated and cannot be used again.
It is always safer to keep your limit as Rs.1 so that when you have to shop, you can increase your limit to the required amount and it gets updated immediately and you can make the payment. Keeping the limit as Rs.1 helps in having your card secure so that no one can misuse it. Also it has a secure pin for online trading similar to actual cards and that helps with full security.

Additional information on VCC

At present, all banks provide VCC free of cost.
VCC are International cards, can be used on all websites.
Banks in India which offer instant virtual cards are:
